Job summary

Frome College is seeking an Attendance Manager to join our pastoral team, overseeing attendance records across the college and coordinating interventions to promote excellent attendance. The role requires collaboration with students, families, colleagues and external agencies, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Working hours are 8:30am–4:15pm Monday–Thursday and 8:30am–5:00pm on Fridays during term time plus inset days, with a permanent contract starting ASAP.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate confidently and sensitively in challenging situations.
• Good IT skills including Google Workspace and Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee attendance records for the college and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate interventions to improve attendance and liaise with students, families and external agencies.
• Promote a culture of excellent attendance and welfare support following procedures.
