We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Attendance Officer to join our National Online School team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily attendance processes, maintaining accurate statutory attendance records, following up pupil absences and providing data to support attendance monitoring and improvement. The role is essential in ensuring that all pupils are accounted for, safeguarding concerns are identified promptly and appropriate action is taken to improve attendance and punctuality. The TCES National Online School provides therapeutic, virtual education for pupils with complex needs, including neurodiverse pupils and those experiencing emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA). Experience in an attendance, education administration, pastoral or school support role would be advantageous, particularly where this has involved attendance monitoring, data management or liaison with families and external agencies.
