Outwood Academy Hemsworth is seeking an Attendance Officer to help maximise student attendance by implementing whole-school strategies and reducing persistent absence. The role blends operational duties, such as home visits and late gate duty, with essential administrative support.

Job description

As an Attendance Officer, you will be crucial in implementing whole-school strategies designed to improve attendance levels and actively reduce persistent absence. This role blends operational duties, such as conducting home visits and late gate duty, with essential administrative support, requiring resilient engagement with students and parents to address attendance barriers.

Working Pattern: 15 hours per week or 22.5 hours per week; must be able to accommodate working Fridays. Term Time Only plus 5 days.
