Job summary

Paradigm Trust is recruiting an Attendance Officer for Ipswich Academy to deliver a professional attendance and admissions service under statutory duties for pupils missing education. You will work with children and families while upholding safeguarding policies and procedures.

The role is a permanent contract, term time plus one week, with enhanced DBS required and a focus on safeguarding and attendance improvement.

Job description

You will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient attendance and admissions service and fulfilling statutory duties on behalf of Ipswich Academy in relation to attendance and children missing education, including working with children and parents/carers.

All applicants must have due regard for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and this will be assessed as part of the recruitment and selection process. If you are successful, you will be required to comply with the Trust's safeguarding policies and procedures.

An Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required for all posts. All completed applications must be submitted by the closing date and time detailed above.

Permanent contract, Term time only plus 1 week

Support staff pay scales, scale 4 point 7 - 11 £27,274 - £29,071 per annum FTE £25,474 - £27,152 pro rata.
