Job summary

The Suthers School (part of Nova-Education-Trust) is seeking an Attendance Officer to oversee attendance and punctuality of all pupils and to support the pastoral team in providing appropriate interventions.

This permanent, full-time, term-time only role offers Scale 4 pay (£27,275 to £29,071 pro-rata, £23,419 to £24,961 actual per year) and requires an enhanced DBS check in line with DfE requirements.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required in line with DfE safeguarding requirements.
• Experience or understanding of safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor attendance and punctuality of all pupils.
• Support the pastoral team with appropriate attendance interventions.
