Job description

Join us on an exciting journey of transformation and excellence.

At Tapestry Learning Partnership, we believe in the power of education to change lives. Formed in January 2026 we are building a future where every child succeeds and flourishes. We believe every child, young person, and adult in a Tapestry school should feel they belong. Inclusion is woven through everything we do; no child’s chance of success should be limited by their background. We work to remove barriers, offer generous support, and champion every individual so they can succeed and flourish.

About the Role

We are seeking an organised and proactive Attendance Officer to support the delivery of our attendance strategy. You will monitor attendance and punctuality, identify concerns early, and work closely with students, families, staff and external agencies to improve attendance outcomes. The role is vital in reducing persistent absence, supporting pupil welfare and ensuring compliance with statutory attendance requirements.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a compassionate and resilient individual with strong communication and organisational skills. You will be confident working with families, analysing attendance data and implementing effective interventions to improve attendance. A good understanding of safeguarding, attention to detail and a commitment to supporting young people to achieve their full potential are essential. Experience within a school, attendance, pastoral or welfare setting would be advantageous.
