Mangotsfield School is seeking a proactive Attendance HLTA to work with our Attendance Team, Pastoral Leaders and Heads of Year to plan and deliver targeted interventions that boost student attendance and engagement across the school.

This role focuses on 1:1 and small-group sessions, using attendance data to track progress and liaise with parents and external services. You will maintain accurate records and contribute to attendance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in educational or pastoral settings to support attendance.
• Knowledge of attendance barriers and strategies to improve engagement.
• Ability to use attendance data to monitor progress and outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver individual and small-group attendance interventions to remove barriers to regular school attendance.
• Coordinate with parents, carers and external agencies, providing regular progress updates.
• Maintain accurate attendance logs, action plans and related admin tasks; assist with audits.
