Job summary

Heathcote Primary School is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Inclusion Team to support children and families, strengthen attendance, wellbeing and learning. You will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher, SENDCo and safeguarding colleagues to lead Early Help work and contribute as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, families and external agencies.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to lead and coordinate Early Help support and Team Around the Family meetings.
• Passion for improving attendance and removing barriers to learning.
• Organisation, resilience and the ability to manage a varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Support children and families to overcome barriers to attendance, wellbeing and learning.
• Lead Early Help work and contribute as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL).
• Coordinate attendance interventions to help every child thrive.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Headteacher, SENDCo and safeguarding team.
