Mount St Joseph RC High is seeking an Attendance Support Officer to manage attendance records, liaise with families, and support pastoral staff in improving attendance. The role includes home visits (vehicle and business use insurance required) and providing reception support within a busy school environment.

The post is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time + 5 days, with a salary in the SCP 7–11 range. Start date asap and closing date 21 October 2026.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents/guardians and external staff.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong administrative and IT skills with accurate records and reports.
• Proactive, discreet handling of sensitive information.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative and reception support.
• Manage attendance records and monitor absences/lateness.
• Liaise with parents/guardians and professionals to improve attendance.
• Coordinate attendance meetings and home visits; issue letters and reports.
