Job summary

The Bishop of Winchester Academy is seeking an Attendance Co-ordinator to support our pupils by monitoring attendance, building positive relationships with families and ensuring records meet statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Good administration skills
• Experience working in an education environment or strong interest in working with young people

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily attendance and punctuality, ensuring accurate recording in line with statutory requirements
• Build positive relationships with students, parents and carers to promote good attendance
• Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, safeguarding colleagues, SEND, Family Engagement and other Academy staff to improve attendance outcomes
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the Academy's attendance strategy
• Complete attendance administration efficiently and accurately
• Ensure all registers are completed as expected, so every student can be accounted for every lesson
