Job summary

Outwood Academy Adwick is seeking an Attendance Officer to drive whole-school attendance improvement. You will work across the academy with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver operational and administrative support, including home visits and late gate patrols, to remove barriers to regular attendance.

The role requires resilience and excellent communication with students, parents and external agencies, and alignment with safeguarding procedures to protect our pupils and support life chances.

Qualifications

• Experience in attendance improvement strategies and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to liaise with parents, students and external agencies.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced academy environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement whole-school attendance strategies to improve levels.
• Conduct home visits and late gate patrols.
• Provide administrative support and liaison with SLT and agencies.
