Job summary

The Totteridge Academy is seeking an Attendance Officer to promote excellent attendance and ensure attendance concerns are identified and addressed quickly and effectively. You will work with students, families and staff to manage attendance, investigate absences, and support safeguarding by escalating concerns as needed.

In this role you will be resilient, well-organised and able to build positive relationships while maintaining high expectations.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellent attendance and identify/address attendance concerns quickly and effectively.
• Manage daily attendance processes and investigate absences.
• Support interventions to remove barriers to learning.
• Escalate safeguarding concerns when unexplained absences arise.
