Job summary

Blackburn with Darwen Council's St. Thomas’ Centre seeks an Attendance & AP Coordinator to work across two sites with pupils aged 5-16 who have challenging needs.

You will identify interventions to raise attendance, analyse data and produce reports, and lead a team to support vulnerable children. This permanent, term-time post is 35 hours per week, with safeguarding checks, strong references and enhanced DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a school environment or educational setting.
• Experience identifying interventions to raise attendance and working with pupils and parents.
• Experience analysing data and producing reports to identify insights.

Responsibilities

• Be an excellent role model for pupils and staff.
• Lead interventions to improve attendance for vulnerable learners.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to plan pupil support.
• Ensure high standards of pupil achievement and well-being.
