Job summary

NATS, the UK’s leading air navigation service provider, is seeking a professional to plan, execute and report on ATM Validation tasks across LTIP, SESAR and external programmes. The role requires flexibility to travel to NATS sites and partner locations.

The role focuses on independent user-led validation, continuous improvement within the ATM Validation Team, and mentoring less experienced colleagues while developing technical expertise.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in a numerate subject or equivalent work experience.
• Good understanding of Validation principles and methodologies.
• Ability to produce well documented, high-quality work.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to mentor others.
• Ability to manage priorities and balance competing demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of ATM Validation tasks and activities.
• Complete assigned tasks within agreed timescales and meet quality expectations.
• Solve routine and non-routine technical problems and suggest improvements.
• Plan, design, implement and report on complex tasks under supervision.
• Provide management support and technical expertise within the ATM Validation Team.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
• Support less experienced colleagues with supervision and guidance.
• Develop and maintain technical and professional expertise.
