Job summary

Leidos UK & Europe is seeking an Integration Test Engineer to join a large-scale systems integration programme. The role is hybrid, based in Whiteley, Hampshire, and requires SC clearance.

You will design, write and execute test cases, interface with multiple teams and customer stakeholders, and manage defects across software, interfaces, and infrastructure. You will document results, report risks and issues, investigate root causes with suppliers, and analyze data from tests to prove compliance

Qualifications

• ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing.
• Ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
• Understanding of Testing Lifecycle and testing types (functional, non-functional, integration).
• Proven experience with 1GL–3GL languages (Ada, C, C++).
• Experience with Waterfall and V-model development.
• Experience delivering on Linux operating systems.
• Experience creating test cases from requirements/design documents.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate test cases by reviewing requirements and design docs.
• Document test results and report defects, progress, risks and issues.
• Investigate issues and work with suppliers to identify root cause.
• Analyze data and test evidence to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
• Identify improvements in new and existing processes.
