Job summary

NoteMachine UK Ltd - A Brink's Company in Milton Keynes is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair our nationwide ATM network, ensuring maximum uptime and excellent service for customers.

You will work in the field across the MK region with a company van, tools provided, and a 44-hour week with rota-based weekends; onboarding bonus up to £1,000 and a performance bonus; full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Field Service Engineering experience involving electro-mechanical equipment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A proactive approach to delivering excellent service
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 active penalty points
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to travel within your designated region
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
• Resident within the MK postcode area
• Able to pass financial and background screening requirements
• Experience working with ATM equipment
• Experience within cash handling, retail technology, self-service, vending, gaming, EPOS or similar electro-mechanical environments

Responsibilities

• Carry out second-line break-fix repairs and preventative maintenance across our ATM estate, including Triton, NCR and Wincor machines
• Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently and safely
• Deliver high levels of customer service during every site visit
• Work closely with customers to minimise downtime and maintain service performance
• Accurately record repairs, parts usage, and service activity
• Complete quality checks to ensure repairs meet company standards
• Participate in ongoing technical and professional development training
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety standards, and security protocols
