Manchester United Training Ground seeks a Junior Sous Chef to support the delivery of nutritionally balanced meals for elite athletes and staff. You will work with the Head Performance Chef, Senior Sous Chef, and nutritionists to uphold top food quality and service in a high-performance sporting environment.

Responsibilities include daily kitchen operations, menu development, and mentoring junior staff, with flexibility for travel to support team events and operations.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
• Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate.
• Previous Chef de Partie experience in a high-quality setting.
• Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements.
• Excellent organisational and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining standards.
• Willingness to travel internationally and hold a valid passport.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare nutritionally focused meals to support athletic performance.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and stock control.
• Own designated kitchen sections with high quality standards.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and food safety standards.
• Assist with menu development and food innovation.
• Support hospitality catering for coaches, staff, and visiting teams.
• Provide guidance to junior kitchen staff.
• Adapt to team travel and events as required.
