Are you ready to be the hero in the fast-paced world of logistics?

Your Role

You will be working within the team responsible for providing a UK service to our customers, which includes collecting and delivering cargo to/from the airport Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for flight departures and arrivals, arranging special dedicated transport for urgent Express shipments, or booking Temperature Controlled vehicles for pharmaceutical goods. Your role will be to coordinate both freight retrieval and deliveries from and to airline sheds/handling agents efficiently and accurately, ensuring full compliance with customs legislation by effective planning and utilization of the fleet, along with day-to-day management of drivers.

Your Responsibilities

1. Truck route planning - Work with Hauliers to drive business performance
2. Customs compliance - Adhere to laws, regulations, and procedures governing the import and export of goods
3. Cost control - Review and optimize all processes to deliver volume utilization & cost reductions
4. Projects - Participate in key focus areas as required
5. Oversee and optimize relationships with suppliers
6. Support team metrics and proactively work with key stakeholders, including Hauliers, to meet and exceed targets
7. Build strong, collaborative relationships with our customers, prioritizing their best interests, and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction

Your Skills and Experiences

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an international air logistics forwarding environment
2. Fully conversant with all aspects of ERTS freight/transfer
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Working hours: 4 on, 4 off, 19:00-07:00
5. Onsite working: Full-time onsite expected
