Are you ready to be the hero in the fast-paced world of logistics?

Your Role

You will be working within the team responsible for providing a UK service to our customers, including collecting and delivering cargo to/from airport Ground Handling Agents (GHA) for flight departures and arrivals, arranging special dedicated transport for urgent Express shipments, or booking Temperature Controlled vehicles for pharmaceutical goods. Your role will be to coordinate freight retrieval and deliveries to and from airline sheds/handling agents efficiently and accurately, ensuring full customs legislation compliance, effective fleet planning, and daily management of drivers.

Your Responsibilities

1. Truck route planning - Work with Hauliers to drive business performance
2. Customs compliance - Adhere to laws, regulations, and procedures governing the import and export of goods
3. Cost control - Review and optimize all processes to improve volume utilization and reduce costs
4. Projects - Participate in key focus areas as required
5. Overseeing and optimizing relationships with suppliers
6. Support team metrics and proactively work with key stakeholders, including Hauliers, to meet and exceed targets
7. Build strong, collaborative relationships with customers, prioritizing their interests and delivering high customer satisfaction

Your Skills and Experiences

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an international air logistics forwarding environment
2. Fully conversant with all aspects of ERTS freight/transfer
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Working hours: 4 on, 4 off, 19:00-07:00
5. Onsite working: Full-time onsite presence expected
