Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust seeks an ASYE Coordinator to support Newly Qualified Social Workers and oversee student social work placements across the Pan London ASYE Programme. You will lead induction, coaching, training delivery, and assessment activities.

The role requires safeguarding, reflective supervision, and collaboration with Team Managers. AVailability for flexible, multicentre work is expected.

Qualifications

• Social Work degree or equivalent with SWE registration as a qualified social worker.
• experience of supervising and assessing social workers either as a Practice Educator, on-site supervisor and ASYE Assessor
• must be at least 2 years post qualified
• ASYE Assessor
• AMHP

Responsibilities

• Induction of NQSWs, student social workers and social work apprentices
• Support to Team Managers and colleagues who have NQSWs in the teams
• Support and guidance to NQSWs in groups, coaching, and reflective supervision
• Develop and co-ordinate the ASYE training programme
• Undertaking and supporting the assessment of the NQSWs against the Adult knowledge and skills statement and Professional Capabilities Framework
• Identify and celebrate good practice and address poor practice with teams and managers
• Quality assure the ASYE programme and support evaluation
• Support ASYE assessors as required
• Lead the student social work hub and supervise placements and apprentices
