Job summary

Target Housing Ltd in Hull is seeking a compassionate Housing Support Worker for the AST Project on a temporary 6-month contract. You will manage a caseload of tenants, providing practical and emotional support to maintain accommodation and develop independent living skills.

You will assist with budgeting, benefits, tenancy management, risk assessments, and liaise with partner agencies to deliver coordinated support; full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle required.

Housing Support Worker – AST Project (Temporary 6 Months)

Hull | Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm|

About the Role:

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Housing Support Worker to join our Assured Shorthold Tenancy (AST) Project in Hull. You'll manage a caseload of tenants across Hull, providing practical and emotional support to help them maintain their accommodation and build the skills needed for independent living. You'll support people with budgeting, benefits, tenancy management, goal setting, and accessing local services, while working closely with partner agencies to deliver coordinated support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver person-centred housing support and key working.
• Develop and review support plans and risk assessments.
• Support tenants to manage finances, benefits, and household responsibilities.
• Help residents understand and meet their tenancy obligations.
• Monitor tenancy sustainment, rent payments, and property standards.

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
