WSP Global Inc. is seeking an Associate Transport Planner in Edinburgh to lead technical input for development planning projects across commercial, retail and residential sectors.

You will mentor Early Career Professionals and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver transport strategies and related evidence. Qualifications

• Experience leading technical work on Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, access strategies and parking strategies; familiarity with NPPF and DfT guidelines.
• Expertise in preparing traffic flow information for Transport Assessments and Environmental Statements.
• Ability to set up and run junction capacity modelling software (Junctions 10, Linsig) and test scenarios.
• Experience in project management including budget and resource planning, invoicing.
• Capability to supervise conceptual junction design (priority, roundabout, signals).
• Strong communication skills to lead client and stakeholder discussions.
• Ability to mentor Early Career Professionals and share knowledge.
• Proficiency with Excel and Word for day-to-day work.
