Job summary

Carrington West are partnering with a long‑standing private planning consultancy to recruitSenior, Principal or Associate Town Planners for Hampshire or Sussex offices. The role offers hybrid working with three days in the office and a broad, varied workload across planning sectors.

You will join an established team, take on increasing responsibility, manage projects and clients, and contribute to the continuing growth of the business while leveraging MRTPI expertise.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualified with private consultancy experience.
• Senior/Principal/Associate level experience.
• Broad understanding of the UK planning system.
• Enjoys working across a varied range of planning projects.
• Confident in managing projects, clients and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercially aware and keen to develop a career within a well‑established consultancy.

Are you an experienced Town Planner at senior, principal or associate looking for your next opportunity with a well-established and highly respected private planning consultancy?

Carrington West are pleased to be partnered with a long-standing planning consultancy with over 40 years of experience, who are looking to strengthen their team with a Senior, Principal or Associate Planner.

With offices the whole of the UK we are recruiting for their Hampshire and Sussex offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planning professional to join an established consultancy offering a genuinely varied workload and the opportunity to work across all areas of the planning industry.

The Opportunity

This is a role that offers plenty of variety. You'll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of planning projects and sectors, rather than being restricted to one particular area of the market.

The successful candidate will be joining an established team and will have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, work closely with clients and colleagues, and play an important role in the continued growth of the business.

The role would suit an experienced Senior, Principal or Associate Town Planner from a private consultancy background who is looking for a long-term career opportunity with an established and reputable firm.

About You

• Is MRTPI qualified

• Is operating at Senior, Principal or Associate level
