Job summary

Goldman Sachs in London seeks a professional to join the Equity Synthetic Client Middle Office to support the SPG Trading Desk and its clients. You will work to manage risk, allocate synthetic trades, and respond to client inquiries, ensuring accurate daily trading activities across the desk.

The role requires strong communication and teamwork across London and global teams, with a proactive approach to process improvements in a fast-paced environment within Prime Services.

• Experience in a fast-paced client service/operational role.
• Strong teamwork across locations (London and globally).

Responsibilities

• Actively manage risk & P&L for all client’s equity derivative trading accounts.
• Trade management – timely allocation of synthetic trades & hedges across flows; resolve economic breaks.
• Query management – handle queries from clients, custodians, PB, sales, trading desks & internal clients.
• Reconciliation – trade and risk reconciliation and related control tasks.
• Identify areas for improvement in processes.
• Document procedures and process flows to enhance controls.
• Daily review of control reports to ensure accurate trade bookings and risk.
• Liaise with other GS teams to resolve queries.
