DCL Consulting Engineers in Central London is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer at Associate level with an opportunity to progress to Executive Director. You will lead structural projects, mentor engineers, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth.

The role emphasises technical leadership, project delivery and collaboration with Directors to shape the future of the business.

Qualifications

Chartered MIStructE and MICE qualifications.
Strong technical and project management experience.
Experience delivering projects independently from inception to completion.
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Commercially aware with understanding of consultancy business.
Ambition to progress into a senior leadership/Executive Director role.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception through to completion.
Provide technical leadership and engineering guidance across projects.
Manage, mentor and develop graduate and project engineers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects and contractors.
Contribute to business development and generation of new work, introducing new clients to the firm.
Prepare fee proposals, tenders and scopes of service.
Assist with project and commercial management, including fees, resources and programmes.
Work with the Directors on strategic growth and development of DCL Consulting Engineers Ltd.
