Associate Structural Engineer

£50k-£55k plus benefits

Are you at senior level but being stifled in your current firm and feel you are ready to take on the role of associate? Or are you at associate level, but feel now is the time for a change?

Our client has a great opportunity in their Derby office for an experienced structural engineer. Projects include historical schemes, throughout the UK. You will benefit from their national presence and work with clients across the UK.

The successful candidate will join a busy office where you will provide independent technical delivery of schemes, focusing on existing buildings, their survey, alteration and repair. With support and supervision, you will take a leading role in a growing team specialising in Listed or Historic buildings, so experience in these areas would be of benefit.

The role would suit a Chartered, or near Chartered, structural engineer at senior or associate level. You should have an interest in historic buildings and have exceptional drive and interest in developing your skills. Survey & report writing experience is vital, or a willingness to learn.
