Associate/Senior Associate - Corporate

TSR Legal is currently assisting a multi-office heavyweight regional firm to expand their corporate team by recruiting an Associate or Senior Associate into the Cardiff office, with a strong background in corporate matters. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage in high-profile transactions and contribute to the growth of our national corporate practice in Wales.

About the Role:

As a Corporate Solicitor, you will be part of a dynamic team advising clients on transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals. Your responsibilities include drafting corporate documents like articles of association, shareholders agreements, and share purchase agreements.

You will also participate in business development initiatives to expand our presence in the Welsh market. We seek someone enthusiastic about growing a new team and office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice on corporate finance transactions.
2. Understand and manage client needs, ensuring efficiency and meeting deadlines.
3. Draft and review legal documents with accuracy and commercial awareness.
4. Develop technical and commercial expertise through ongoing training.
5. Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
6. Support business development efforts.

Skills:

1. Proven experience as a Solicitor with a focus on Corporate law.
2. Strong drafting skills and ability to provide clear, commercially viable advice.
3. Up-to-date knowledge of corporate law and policies.
4. Proficiency with IT tools such as MS Office, digital dictation, and electronic time recording.
