Cape Clarke in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Associate Solicitor to manage a litigated claimant Clinical Negligence caseload and contribute to high-value, life-changing injury claims.

Join a nationally recognised practice, work with leading medical experts and KC's, and handle matters from investigation through to settlement or trial, with hybrid working and strong mentoring on offer.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE within Clinical Negligence.
• Experience managing their own litigated caseload.

Associate Solicitor | Clinical Negligence | High-Value Catastrophic Injury

Birmingham

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Associate to join one of the UK's leading claimant Clinical Negligence teams.

This is an opportunity to become part of a nationally recognised practice that acts for clients who have suffered life-changing injuries as a result of negligent medical treatment. The team is instructed on some of the most complex and high-value claims in the country, offering exposure to work that is both technically challenging and genuinely rewarding.

You’ll manage your own caseload of litigated claimant Clinical Negligence matters while also playing a key role on complex, multi-million-pound claims involving catastrophic injury. The work is varied and includes:

• Birth injury and cerebral palsy claims
• Spinal cord injuries
• Wrongful birth claims
• Brain injuries
• Fatal claims
• Other complex and life-changing medical negligence matters

You’ll work closely with leading medical experts, King's Counsel and experienced colleagues throughout the litigation process, from initial investigations through to settlement or trial where required.

This role offers an excellent platform for someone looking to further develop their technical expertise whilst taking on increasing responsibility within one of the country's most respected claimant teams.

The successful candidate will have:

• 4+ years' PQE within Clinical Negligence
