Job summary

G2 Legal is assisting a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates. They seek a Contentious Probate Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a team renowned for high-value, complex probate disputes.

The role offers remote and hybrid working and a merit-based path to Partnership. You will manage your own caseload, handle will and trust disputes, Inheritance Act 1975 claims, and executor/trustee matters, with support from senior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Applications welcome from solicitors with 3+ years PQE and strong contentious probate experience.
• You should be confident managing your own caseload and possess strong technical ability.
• Excellent client care skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex disputes, including will and inheritance disputes, and trust and estate disputes.
• Handle executor and trustee disputes and challenges to validity and capacity of wills.
• Lead own matters with support from a collaborative, experienced team.
• Deliver high-quality work while maintaining a client-focused approach, with flexible working options.

I'm keen to speak with Contentious Probate Solicitors (3+ PQE) who are looking to join a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates.

This highly regarded firm has established an exceptional reputation for handling complex, high-value contentious probate matters. Unlike many private client teams, the practice is dedicated solely to contentious work, offering lawyers the opportunity to develop genuine specialist expertise while working alongside some of the leading names in the field.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of complex disputes, including will and inheritance disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust and estate disputes, challenges to the validity and capacity of wills, and executor and trustee disputes. You'll enjoy the autonomy to run your own matters while benefiting from the support, mentoring and technical expertise of a collaborative and experienced team.
