Job summary

G2 Legal is assisting a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice in recruiting a Contentious Probate Solicitor (3+ PQE). The firm specialises exclusively in contentious trusts and estates and handles high-value, complex matters across the UK.

You will manage a varied caseload with full autonomy, supported by senior colleagues through mentoring and technical expertise. Flexible remote/hybrid working and a merit‑based path to Partnership are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE with solid contentious probate experience.
• Confident managing own caseload with strong technical ability.
• Excellent client care skills and desire for long-term progression.

I'm keen to speak with Contentious Probate Solicitors (3+ PQE) who are looking to join a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates.

This highly regarded firm has established an exceptional reputation for handling complex, high-value contentious probate matters. Unlike many private client teams, the practice is dedicated solely to contentious work, offering lawyers the opportunity to develop genuine specialist expertise while working alongside some of the leading names in the field.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of complex disputes, including will and inheritance disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust and estate disputes, challenges to the validity and capacity of wills, and executor and trustee disputes. You'll enjoy the autonomy to run your own matters while benefiting from the support, mentoring and technical expertise of a collaborative and experienced team.
