Job summary

G2 Legal is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a nationally recognised boutique disputes practice, specialising exclusively in contentious trusts and estates. The role offers remote and hybrid working, with a strong emphasis on work-life balance and progression to Partnership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' PQE in contentious probate.
• Experience in will and inheritance disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex disputes including will and inheritance disputes, trust and estate disputes, executor and trustee disputes.
• Provide strategic advice and robust advocacy for clients with excellent client care.
• Collaborate with colleagues while developing specialist expertise in contentious probate.
• Pursue a merit-based pathway to Partnership within a supportive culture.

The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of complex disputes, including will and inheritance disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust and estate disputes, challenges to the validity and capacity of wills, and executor and trustee disputes. You'll enjoy the autonomy to run your own matters while benefiting from the support, mentoring and technical expertise of a collaborative and experienced team.
