Job summary

WSP is looking for an Associate level Engineer to join the UK Building Technology Systems team, delivering smart building integration from concept through to client handover. You will lead design activities, coordinate with architects, engineers and vendors, and ensure cybersecurity considerations are embedded.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, collaboration across disciplines, and the ability to articulate digital strategies and new AI-enabled solutions for the built environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Smart Building Technology design and delivery on medium to large projects.
• Ability to develop architectures that integrate building systems with enterprise IT infrastructure, considering cybersecurity.
• Experience bridging traditional building automation with IoT, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Eligible to live and work in the UK and able to obtain SC-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for building technology workstreams across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Lead concept to detailed design for smart building systems and integration.
• Collaborate with Architects, Engineers and consultants to deliver holistic solutions.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to capture requirements and governance criteria.
