The Leicester-based consultancy is seeking an Associate / Senior Structural Engineer to lead and deliver a variety of building structures projects across the Midlands and wider UK. You will manage design stages, coordinate with design teams, and mentor junior staff as you contribute to growth of the Leicester office.

Offering £55,000 - £70,000 salary plus benefits, and flexible/hybrid working where appropriate, with opportunities for career development and chartership support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered status with IStructE or ICE, or progress toward chartership.
• Strong UK consultancy experience in building structures.
• Good knowledge of Eurocodes and UK design standards.
• Experience delivering projects from concept to construction.

An established structural and civil engineering consultancy based in Leicester is looking to appoint an experienced Associate / Senior Structural Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Associate / Senior Structural Engineer who wants to take on greater technical and commercial responsibility while working on a varied portfolio of building structures projects across the Midlands and wider UK.

The Role As an Associate / Senior Structural Engineer, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of structural engineering projects from concept through to completion. The Associate / Senior Structural Engineer will work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, technically and commercially.

Key responsibilities

Required Experience

The successful Associate / Senior Structural Engineer should have:

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered status with the IStructE or ICE, or significant progress towards chartership.
• Strong UK consultancy experience within building structures.
• Good knowledge of Eurocodes and UK design standards.
• Experience delivering structural projects from concept to construction.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Previous experience mentoring or managing engineers would be advantageous.
