Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates is seeking an Employment Associate / Senior Associate for its renowned Employment team, based in Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role focuses on advising major commercial clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters within an international practice.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ PQE in employment law across contentious and non-contentious matters.
• Commercial awareness, proactivity and strong communication skills.
• Experience advising commercial clients in private practice is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues and workplace disputes.
• Support corporate, commercial and real estate transactions (TUPE, business transfers, outsourcing).
• Manage Employment Tribunal, court and appeal litigation, investigations and regulatory matters.
• Assist with business development and cross-border projects within a leading international practice.

This leading international law firm is recruiting an Employment Associate / Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Employment team in either Edinburgh or Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to advise major commercial clients, including household names and multinational organisations, on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising clients on day-to-day employment law issues, workplace disputes and employee relations matters
• Supporting corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, including TUPE, business transfers and outsourcing projects
• Managing Employment Tribunal, court and appeal litigation, as well as investigations and regulatory matters
• Assisting with business development initiatives and cross-border projects as part of a market-leading international employment practice

Applicants should have at least 4 years’ PQE in employment law, with experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters. Candidates should be commercially aware, proactive and personable, with strong technical, organisational and communication skills. Experience advising commercial clients within a private practice environment would be advantageous.
