Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer based in Winchester. In this role, you will lead the Civil Engineering discipline, overseeing infrastructure projects including highways and utilities, while building client relationships and managing project profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, be a Chartered Engineer (or near), and possess strong technical knowledge in infrastructure design and project management. You will champion technical excellence and drive the growth of the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow the Civil Engineering discipline.

• Manage resources and deliver projects to financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and planning requirements.
• Represent Ridge at external meetings with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
• Oversee project profitability, budgets, and fee negotiations.
• Build and lead technical teams using internal and external resources.
• Champion technical excellence within Civil Engineering.

Core Skills and Experience
