Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Bristol seeks an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Banking & Finance team. The role focuses on leading and supporting high-value finance transactions across sectors including real estate, acquisition, corporate, development, and project finance.

You will draft and negotiate facility agreements and related documents, manage cross-functional workstreams, and advise lenders and borrowers on new lending arrangements while mentoring junior lawyers in a collaborative, hybrid

Qualifications

• 3-6 years' PQE in banking and finance.
• Proven track record leading finance transactions.
• Experience across sustainable economy, impact investing, financial services, real estate or international finance.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a wide variety of finance matters including real estate, acquisition, corporate, development, project and impact finance.
• Draft, negotiate and advise on facility agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements and loan notes.
• Advise lenders and borrowers on new lending, refinancings and restructurings; manage multi-disciplinary workstreams.
• Support domestic and international transactions, including overseas counsel, and build client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior lawyers and contribute to strategic growth of the team.

Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time or Part-time (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 (depending on experience)

A dynamic and forward thinking law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly experienced Banking & Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative, agile environment, advising on high value and complex finance transactions while contributing to the continued growth of a nationally recognised practice.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for leading and supporting a wide variety of finance matters, including:

• Real estate finance
• Acquisition finance
• Corporate lending
• Development finance
• Project finance
• Impact investment transactions

Your work will include drafting, negotiating and advising on facility agreements, security documents, intercreditor arrangements, loan notes and related finance documentation. You will advise both lenders and borrowers on new lending arrangements, refinancings and restructurings, and manage transaction workstreams across multi disciplinary teams.

You will also:

• Support domestic and international transactions, including working with overseas counsel
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser
• Identify opportunities for collaboration and business development
• Mentor and support junior lawyers
• Contribute to strategic growth areas within the team

Candidate Requirements

• 3-6 years' PQE in banking and finance
