Job description

We are excited to announce a vacancy for an Associate Scientific Director within a global publications team for a leading client. This role primarily focuses on oncology publications, with the opportunity to manage a pipeline asset, offering career growth within an experienced team.

This position suits someone passionate about medical communications and experienced in creating oncology-specific materials, including solid tumours and primary manuscripts. The role involves producing high-quality scientific content that supports practice-changing assets, along with secondary responsibilities in line management, mentorship, and reviewing junior team members' work.

You will leverage your medical communications expertise to collaborate closely with colleagues and clients, building long-lasting relationships and contributing to the development of top-tier content and account growth. A thorough understanding of oncology is essential, along with the ability to analyze and assimilate market, therapy area, and product information, engaging in strategic discussions with senior teams and clients.

The role requires a commitment to quality, energy, and maintaining a positive attitude to foster team pride and excellence. Content delivery will include manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, infographics, lexicons, and gap analyses. Occasionally, podcast and video publications may also be part of your responsibilities.
