Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor with strong UK infrastructure experience to lead commercial services on major projects. You will handle NEC4/NR/FIDIC contracts, mentor staff, and contribute to bids. The role emphasizes client service, proactive learning, and collaboration across teams from our UK offices.

Successful candidates will demonstrate leadership of commissions, sound commercial judgment, and the ability to drive high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Membership of a professional body (APM, RICS, ICE, etc.).
• Significant commercial experience on UK civil engineering/construction projects.
• Strong writing, client-facing and communication skills.
• Well-organised, proactive, commercially astute and diligent.
• Ability to become Security Cleared.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-contract and post-contract commercial services on large UK infrastructure projects.
• Mentor junior staff and support bids for new work.
• Advise on evaluations and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate project delivery with client and internal teams.
