Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor in Oxford to lead and grow the Oxford QS team, delivering pre- and post-contract services across a varied portfolio. The role offers ownership of projects and clear progression pathways within a people‑focused consultancy.

Ideal candidates will have strong pre/post-contract QS experience, excellent communication skills, and a track record mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a construction consultancy (Oxford).
• Strong pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
• MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Quantity Surveying services from project inception through to completion.
• Manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors.

The Role

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of construction projects, providing both pre and post‑contract Quantity Surveying services while helping to develop and strengthen the Oxford team.
