Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Property Litigation Associate for a highly regarded Exeter law firm. The role requires 1-5 years PQE in property disputes and offers a hybrid working pattern with a competitive salary of £55k–£80k per year depending on experience.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, advise a mix of private and corporate clients, and contribute to the growth of the Property Litigation team in Exeter.

A highly regarded, forward thinking UK law firm is seeking a Property Litigation Associate (1-5 years PQE) to join its ambitious and expanding Property Litigation team in Exeter. The Role

Work will include:

• Handling a broad range of contentious property matters
• Advising private clients, corporate clients, retailers, landowners, developers, and investors
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision and support
• Engaging directly with clients from an early stage
• Contributing to the development and long term success of the Property Litigation team

Candidate Requirements

This role is ideal for a solicitor with:

• 1-5 years PQE in property litigation
• Experience in disputes involving development land (including telecoms), property contracts, and landlord/tenant matters such as dilapidations, break notices, forfeiture, and breach of covenant
• Strong technical, analytical, and drafting skills
• Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
• Confidence in managing matters independently while recognising when to seek guidance
• A proactive, commercially aware, and client focused mindset
• Enthusiasm for innovation, collaboration, and contributing to a growing team
