The combined salary from University and College is £57,986 to £77,366 per annum, plus benefits including a housing allowance of £12,887. The appointment is initially for five years with a potential extension after review.

Job description

The Department of Engineering Science intends to appoint an Associate Professor of Engineering Science (Chemical Engineering) from 1 September 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will work at the Department of Engineering Science (Kidlington, OX5 1PF) and will be offered a Tutorial Fellowship at New College under arrangements described in the Job Description. The combined University and College salary will be on a scale currently from £57,986 p.a. to £77,366 p.a. plus additional benefits (see the Job Description for full details) that include a housing allowance of £12,887 p.a.. The appointment will be initially for five years at which point, upon completion of a successful review, the post-holder will be eligible for reappointment to the retiring age.
