Job summary

Vella Recruitment is seeking an experienced Associate Planner for a Bristol-based planning consultancy. You will work alongside senior planners and interdisciplinary teams on a range of planning projects, applications and land promotions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Town Planning, is RTPI-registered or working towards it, and can manage multiple projects concurrently while navigating the planning process. Hybrid working is available with 2–3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Town Planning, ideally in a planning consultancy.
• Chartered (RTPI) or working towards it.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and clear understanding of the planning process.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning projects, planning applications and land promotions.
• Collaborate with planners, economists, designers and heritage consultants across projects.
• Contribute to delivering planning outcomes across residential development initiatives.

Our client is a dynamic planning consultancy, that operate across 10 offices across the UK. They are a multi-disciplinary working together across planners, socio-economics, architects, designers and other specialist consultants. The team focuses on strategic planning projects, planning applications and land promotions for residential developments across the Northern region of the UK.

?WHO THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

5+ years of experience in Town Planning, ideally within a planning consultancy. You will be Chartered (RTPI) or working towards it. Have previous experience working on multiple projects at any one time and have clear understanding of the planning process.
