A fantastic career opportunity has arisen for a creative and driven Associate or Senior Associate Sustainability Consultant to join our Sustainability Group. The role is based in our London office and will be part of our broader Sustainability group which has a presence in every Hoare Lea office across the country. Working alongside a range of specialist engineers and consultants, you will be joining a collaborative, knowledgeable, highly engaged team who love what they do, and offer a supportive, flexible, and high performing work culture.
You will play a supporting role in the leadership of the London Sustainability team. You will share line management responsibilities with the team leader, managing individuals and accelerating the development of junior staff within the team through the implementation of mentoring and training.
In this role, you will specialise in whole life carbon assessment and management, serving as a technical expert within the team. You will provide in-depth analysis, guidance, and innovative solutions to reduce carbon footprints across the entire lifecycle of projects—from design and construction through to operation and end‑of‑life. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help embed sustainable practices and ensure compliance with evolving carbon regulations and standards.
