Job Description:

A leading US law firm is seeking a talented Competition Litigation Associate with 4 to 6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their London office.

You will support the firm’s growing Competition and Antitrust Litigation practice, working on significant matters involving competition damages claims and investigations across the UK and EU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acting for both claimants and defendants in the English courts
• Advising undertakings under investigation by UK and EU competition and digital markets regulators
• Handling standalone and follow-on damages claims, as well as appeals and judicial reviews

Important Note: This is a litigation-focused role. The firm is specifically looking for candidates with experience in damages litigation, not regulatory or merger control matters.

Candidate Requirements:

• 5+ years’ PQE is ideal
• Qualified in England & Wales (must have)
• Demonstrated experience in UK competition litigation (e.g., CAT, High Court, appellate work)
• Familiarity with EU/UK regulatory investigations is beneficial but not essential
