  • Enjoyment of being challenged by complex legal issues and expanding your knowledge.
  • Focused on delivering a highly professional service to clients, including compliance with client SLAs and MI requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work with all members of the team, acting on behalf of a range of insurance companies and self‑insured commercial organisations.
  • Assist and handle a varied caseload and appear regularly in the Court.
  • Carry out investigations with policyholders and take witness statements, reviewing and interpreting medical records and reports.
  • Identify information requirements and secure required documentation/evidence from plaintiff representatives.
  • Adhere to reporting and reserving requirements in relation to different client SLAs.
  • Manage files, including initial reports, updates and correspondence.
  • Attend and appear at court, pre‑trial meetings and adhere to court timetables.
  • Support the Partners in servicing existing clients, growing new business and maintaining client relationships using technical excellence and innovation.
  • Draft all legal documents and client advice.
  • Deal with interlocutory proceedings, Court Reviews and client meetings.
  • Support marketing and business development activity with the team and the wider Clyde & Co casualty group.

In return, you will benefit from being part of an organisation that is genuinely committed to its people. Within our friendly department you will have access to a range of learning and development opportunities designed to support your ongoing progression.
