Job Overview

Provide support and guidance to less experienced members of the HR team in their day-to-day operational roles. Support the continuous improvement of the HR function through development and implementation of all HR programs within an assigned geography or business line. As an HR Business Partner, provide expertise, support, and advice to management teams locally, regionally, or globally. Lead a team of HR professionals to ensure business delivery and results.

Essential Functions

1. Lead the Employee Relations Team within the UKI HR Partner Team.
2. Develop effective relationships with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence, e.g., HRPSC, Finance PSC.
3. Manage staff according to organizational policies and regulations, including planning, performance appraisal, professional development, rewards, discipline, and resolving employee relations issues. Approve HR actions.
4. Implement projects and process improvements related to employment legislation, HR systems, practices, procedures, and compliance.
5. Lead initiatives for the development of HR processes and global/local HR programs.
6. Provide coaching and counseling to HR management.
7. Act as a Business Partner to assigned areas, ensuring HR delivery adds value.
8. Support change management efforts involving reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, and transfers, ensuring legal compliance.
9. Provide reports and analysis to senior management as needed.
10. Offer guidance on people management, absenteeism, workforce planning, and talent development.
