I am looking to speak with an Associate Geotechnical Engineer specialising in complex UK infrastructure to build and develop a Geotechnical design team in London. You will be sat alongside established multi-disciplinary teams, assisting the wider UK geotechnical team for an SME international design consultancy.
Your responsibilities as an Associate Geotechnical Engineer will be to support the UK Geotechnical team on projects across the UK but ultimately providing strategic leadership and technical oversight to the London office.
Associate Geotechnical Engineer responsibilities include all technical delivery, team management/recruitment, and commercial growth. A taste includes; designing ground investigations, foundation design (deep and shallow including settlement), detailed pile design, slope stability analysis, soil nailing/rock anchors design, design of retaining structures, writing geotechnical reports, tendering, and bidding - client facing.
Projects involve Energy, Transportation infrastructure, and Buildings.
