Paddock Geo Engineering Ltd (PGE) is seeking a driven and technically exceptional Principal to Associate-Level Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our growing team in Milton Keynes.

We’re a friendly, high-performing consultancy working on diverse ground engineering and site investigation projects across the South of England, Wales, and the Midlands. Our clients range from local authorities and commercial developers to small and medium-scale housebuilders and mineral extraction companies, giving you exposure to a broad and rewarding portfolio.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead technical delivery, mentor a skilled team, and contribute strategically to the success of our projects and business.

The Role:

1. Acting as a deputy for the Managing Director
2. Leading and mentoring a team of ~6+ engineers and technicians
3. Demonstrating high technical competence in geo-environmental, geotechnical, and site investigation work
4. Managing projects from inception to completion, including client liaison and cost control
5. Conducting Contaminated Land Risk Assessments (Stage 1–3)
6. Delivering combined geo-environmental and geotechnical site investigations
