Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking an Associate ER Advisor to join our Employee Relations team. You will provide expert guidance to managers and support ER cases across the business on a full-time basis under a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Location is UK-wide with a monthly visit to our Birmingham office. You will manage caseloads, advise on HR policies, and support managers via an ER advice line while using case management systems for a remote service.

Qualifications

• Experience working on Employee Relations cases.
• CIPD qualified or willing to study with company support.
• Good IT skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of HR systems would be advantageous.
• Strong interest in Employment Law and HR best practice.
• Confidential handling of sensitive information.
• Comfortable taking calls on ER advisory lines.

• Build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across both public and private sector contracts.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working on Employee Relations case is required (such as Absence Management)
• CIPD qualified or eager to undertake CIPD studies with company support.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• An understanding of HR systems would be advantageous.
• A keen interest in Employment Law and HR best practice.
• Strong appreciation of confidentiality and the handling of sensitive information.
• Comfortable working over the phone and taking calls
