AECOM in the UK is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join our Water Team, with a hybrid working model and offices in the South of England, including Exeter.

You’ll deliver electrical and ICA design for water infrastructure projects, run feasibility studies, outline and detailed design, and provide construction support, while maintaining high technical quality and mentoring colleagues across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
• Proven ability to produce, review, and approve engineering reports, designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Problem-solver who takes ownership of challenging technical issues and resolves them.
• Excellent client and stakeholder engagement with mentoring and line management experience.

Responsabilités

• Electrical and ICA design: design and review electrical and ICA aspects for water infrastructure and provide expert advice.
• Delivery: feasibility studies, outline and detailed design, construction and commissioning support.
• Quality: ensure high technical quality, contribute to bids, and maintain client relationships.
• Project management: manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables to targets.
• Collaborate: work with multidisciplinary teams and clients to buy in to solutions.
• Leadership: manage direct reports, inspire technical excellence, and mentor engineers.
